Aadmi is directed by A Bhimsingh and is P S Veerappa production. It is a story of an orphaned young boy named Rajesh (Dilip Kumar) who belongs to a very noble and well off family. His childhood beloved and sweetheart tragically dies and it was very difficult for him to forget her so he fills her space with a doll. He has quite possessive attitude towards the doll and even kill a boy who dare to touch it. Doll remains in his closet until he became young ad fall in love again with lady named Meena (Waheeda Rehman). Then story twisted and Rajesh’s best friend Dr. Shekhar (Manoj Kumar) made an entry to ruin his love life. Love and friendship both betrayed him and in the end he was sitting on a wheel chair with only memories of love.  The plot has many twists and turns and surprises which keep audience stick till end.  Dilip Kumar has performed very well in this film.
